Trail – Costa da Lagoa Path

FLOUR MILLS, DONA LOQUINHA’S HOUSE, AND THE GARAPUVU TREES

This is one of the best options for those who want to explore Lagoa da Conceição beyond its

viewpoints and beaches. It is a leisurely-paced route that allows you to experience the landscape and

the community of Costa da Lagoa, with plenty of time to observe, walk, and learn about local history.

Located in Lagoa da Conceição, this 6 km (one-way) hike connects the Canto dos Araçás area to Costa da Lagoa. The trail ends at a restaurant in Costa da Lagoa, where you can enjoy local cuisine.

The return trip is made by boat (not included).

Beyond the beauty of the route itself, you will encounter the region’s history, passing

by old mansions and a traditional manioc flour mill. Depending on the time of year, you may also be able to admire the blooming of the garapuvu—the symbolic tree of Florianópolis.

🌦️ Weather dependency:
The activity is directly dependent on weather conditions. In the event of heavy rain, strong winds, or any situation that poses a safety risk, the tour may be rescheduled. All decisions are made with the well-being and safety of the participants as the top priority.

❌ Cancellation by the client:

* Cancellations made at least 7 days in advance: full refund;

* Cancellations made between 7 days and 24 hours before the activity: 75% refund;

* Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance or failure to show up for the activity: NON-REFUNDABLE (subject to statutory rights).

⚠️ Cancellation by the organizer: In the event of a cancellation due to force majeure (extreme weather conditions, access difficulties, or safety concerns), the client may choose between rescheduling or a full refund.
